  1. Why was The Michael Miyauchi Foundation established?

The Michael Miyauchi Foundation was established in October, 2004 in memory of Michael Miyauchi, who passed away on May 5, 2004 after a 13 month battle with lymphoma.

In Michael’s brief time on earth, his genuine and compassionate heart changed the lives of many. Michael’s strong faith in Jesus Christ fostered strength and courage to persevere throughout all of the obstacles in his life. Michael continually expressed the desire to spread this faith, and to awaken people to see the strength in God. Michael believed that his mission in life was to help others and to lift the spirits of all who he met and touched.

The Michael Miyauchi Foundation is grounded in the main principles and beliefs by which Michael lived his life.
