The Michael Miyauchi Foundation, established in 2004, is grounded in the main
principles and beliefs that guided Michael Scott Miyauchi’s 20 years of life
on this earth. Therefore, the fundamental mission of the Michael Miyauchi Foundation is:

To support organizations that are dedicated to cancer
treatment & education, and research for the cure to cancer

To assist youth programs dedicated to faith and service in our community

To participate in activities that promote good health, good works, and good fellowship
Recent Foundation Activities
The 15th & Final M&M Golf Classic was held on July 30, 2018, attracting 133 golfers and raising
$34,000 for Fred Hutch and Seattle Children's.
The foundation continues to promote and encourage people to
help others, as well as to provide financial support to
organizations that fall within the foundation's mission.
These are recent foundation activities:

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center
As a designated beneficiary of the 2018 M&M Golf Classic,
we raised $17,000 for the Michael Miyauchi Endowed Fund at Fred Hutch.

Ben Towne Center for Childhood Cancer Research
As a designated beneficiary of the 2018 M&M Golf Classic, we
raised $17,000 for the Seattle Children's Research Institute organization.

Dr. Henry Kaplan Research Fund
The foundation annually supports this
vital cancer research and education project at
The Swedish Cancer Institute.

Jubilee REACH Center
The foundation provides support for this Christian-based
organization that reaches out to youth in Bellevue,
primarily in partnership with the Bellevue School District.

Michael Miyauchi Memorial Fund
The foundation continues to support this fund
@ Lighthouse Christian Church, whose mission is
to encourage youth to come to know, love,
and serve Jesus Christ. We recently
provided 3 scholarships for the 2018
Urbana Conference in St. Louis.
